Abstract

Introduction There is a wide range of cardiac conditions that may significantly increase the risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD). They range from ischaemic heart disease to inherited cardiac conditions, such as hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, and these may be in the setting of primary or secondary prevention.
