Abstract

Introduction Breast cancer is one of the major public health problems; it is the second most common cancer among women and it has a high mortality rate.1 Doxorubicin, which is an antibiotic of the anthracycline group, has a cytotoxic antineoplastic activity and is commonly used in a broad spectrum of malignancies, either alone or in combination with other drugs.
