High-output heart failure due to arteriovenous malformation treated by endovascular embolisation

Abstract

Introduction High-output heart failure (HF) is an uncommon condition with varying aetiologies, often left uninvestigated. This type of HF is characterised by an elevated cardiac output, usually with high stroke volume, leading to biventricular dilation.
