A national campaign has been launched to debate the opportunities in a society where we are living longer.
Organised by Trading Times and Commonland, the campaign will start with a varied programme from 1st–6th October 2014 at the Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf, London. “No UK government so far has had a vision and coherent strategy to holistically address the ageing of our population,” says Professor Sarah Harper (Department of Gerontology, University of Oxford, and director of the Institute of Population Ageing).
